Connect Gmail
- Open Accounts in your workspace and choose the Google connection option.
- Sign in on Google’s page with the inbox you want to connect.
- Review the requested access and Google’s verification status before deciding whether to connect. Gmail access is optional.
- Return to Compiling, then open Sync & parsing.
The Gmail API connector uses read-only access. The permission can read mailbox contents and settings; Compiling searches for supported order messages according to your sync choices. Imported source messages and attachments can be stored in your workspace. It does not send, edit, or delete Gmail messages. Enter your Google password only on Google’s page.
Choose stores and history
Select the stores to import and your email history range, then choose Save stores & sync. The first import searches that history; automatic sync checks for new matching messages.
Other inboxes
Supported providers can connect through IMAP using an app password. Follow your provider’s setup instructions and enter the connection in Accounts. Do not send passwords or app passwords to support.
Disconnect an inbox
Manage the connection in Accounts. You can also revoke Google access from your Google Account. Disconnecting stops future access; it does not erase records already imported. Read the privacy policy for deletion options.
